Mit Beginn dieses Jahres übernahm Larissa Förster, Honorarprofessorin am IfEE, die Leitung des Weltkulturen Museum in Frankfurt!
Larissa Förster’s Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen im Bereich der Postkolonialen Theorie und postkolonialen Provinienzforschung und Museumsanthropologie.
Vor der Übernahme der Direktion im Weltkulturen Museum arbeitet Larissa Förster in der Stiftung Deutsches Zentrum Kulturgutverluste, wo sie den Schwerpunkt "Kultur- und Sammlungsgut aus kolonialen Kontexten" mit aufbaute.
Zu diesen Themenfeldern bietet Larissa Förster auch regelmäßig Seminare am IfEE an – das nächste Mal wieder im WS 2025/26.

At the beginning of this year, Larissa Förster, Honorary Professor at the IfEE, took over the management of the Weltkulturen Museum in Frankfurt!
Larissa Förster's research focuses on postcolonial theory and postcolonial provenance research and museum anthropology.
Before taking over the directorship of the Weltkulturen Museum, Larissa Förster worked at the German Lost Art Foundation, where she participated in establishing the focus "Cultural Goods and Collections from colonial contexts".
Larissa Förster also regularly offers seminars on these topics at the IfEE - next time again in the winter semester 2025/26.
